Data Collection Manager - Preview Pane

 

The Preview Pane is a document viewer that holds where your data collection, reviewing, and reporting occur. This screen provides a tremendous amount of information regrading your data, as well as many features and functions for managing that data.

The screen is broken down into three sections as shown below. Click the links to learn more about each section:

 

 

 

Report Navigator

The Navigator provides a browse-able list of thumbnails representing each page of the current document. Users can quickly browse to any page using the Navigator.

Editable Fields

The fields in Data Manager forms and reports can be configured with built-in editing. This allows users to edit these document fields directly within the Preview Pane.

Pressing the Editable Fields button will highlight all editable fields within the current document, making it easy for users to see which fields they can make changes to.

Save

Saves the current document in Data Manager Report Format. Documents saved in this format can be re-loaded and edited at any time.

Hand Tool

Use the Hand Tool to move the visible portion of the current document. This is useful when you have zoomed in on a document and want to view different sections of a page.

Pages Navigators

When the current document contains multiple pages, you can use these navigation buttons to move between the pages.

Background Color

Sets the background color of your current document.

Export

Export the current document to a file in PDF or RTF format.

Find

Use the Find button to locate all occurrences of any text within the current document.

Open

Loads a previously save Data Manager Report Document into the Preview Pane.

Print

Prints the current document.

Zooming Tools

Use these tools to zoom in or out of the current document.

Multi-Page View

Show multiple pages at a time in the Preview Pane.

Watermark

Add a watermark to the current document. Watermarks can be added to individual pages or to the every page in the document.

Email

Automatically open your email client and attach a PDF copy of the current document.
